I am from Altoona, IA and I attended Dowling Catholic High School. My family consists of my parents, Jane and Casey, and my two sisters. My older sister, Abby, is currently a senior at Wartburg College and my younger sister, Kaitlin, is a freshman at Luther College. I am a member of the Honors Program and the 2007-2008 Cortina Community. I also attend Rosary Club and am a member of the Student Ministry Team at Creighton. I love playing intramural sports and also enjoy refereeing. I also volunteer in the Crisis Center at the Child Saving Institute in Omaha, NE.

I want to write these reflections because I find it highly useful to critically examine my life through the Gospel message and the words of the other Biblical writers. I think reflection and directed action are the only ways to truly grow and develop as a faith-filled person. This reflection gives me the opportunity to challenge my own devotion to increasing my faith through sharing my strengths and struggles with others.
