The Cortina Community is a service-learning, living-learning program for selected sophomore students based on four distinct values: Community. Service. Faith. Justice.. The 28 women & 28 men living on 5th floor McGloin Hall will engage in weekly service, service-learning courses, and reflection in a communal setting.

Cortina Community is a collaborative program sponsored by the Creighton Center for Service and Justice (CCSJ), Academic Affairs, and the Department of Residence Life. It is inspired by the words of Rev. Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, S.J., Superior General of the Society of Jesus, to "educate the whole person of solidarity for the real world." This initiative can be characterized as a communal, living-learning experience; rooted in the Ignatian tradition of the service of faith and the promotion of justice. The Cortina Community is a part of the Sophomore Program. Questions:
