Serving Creighton University

Creighton University is committed to promoting positive working relationships and effective communication among employees. In an effort to achieve these goals, Employee Relations serves as a resource to employees by providing guidance and training to supervisors and employees on ways to enhance the working environment. At times, non-work related issues may also surface and an employee may need assistance in identifying available resources.

Here to Assist

An employee may contact Employee Relations at any time. It is important that an employee use all resources available to discuss an issue. These resources may include his or her supervisor, next level manager/director and/or designated Employee Relations Representative.

Solving workplace issues requires a personal investment of time, patience, a willingness to take a risk and, on occasion, feeling uncomfortable. The benefits of addressing these situations are:

  1. Increased Self-Respect.
  2. Personal Growth and Development.
  3. Stronger Relationships.

Training is a vital part of our ability to address workplace issues. The designated Employee Relations Representative will assist an employee or a department with suggestions for appropriate training sources. It is the University's goal, in partnership with every employee, to develop and implement methods of training that will strengthen and enhance working relationships.
