Over the summer DoIT teams have been hard at work upgrading and improving technology on the campus. The following list details some of the changes that will greet you in the fall of 2008. ·Office 2007 is installed on all classroom computers ·Office 2007 is installed on all DoIT managed public labs -Older Office files can be opened by Office 2007 ·The student Service Desk (DoIT4Students) has moved to lower Reinert to better serve the student community. ·The DoIT Training Team will move to lower Reinert on September 19th. ·Classroom Support has opened an office in Harper 3052 -Persons looking for Joyce Sheehan and poster printing will find them in Harper 3052 -Persons checking out Classroom Support equipment (projectors, screens, etc.) on the east side of campus can now do so by going to the circulation desk in the Reinert Library ·The Campus Calendar (http://calendar.creighton.edu) is now online ·The Service Desk knowledgebase is online and growing. Check for solutions to common problems online 24/7/365 at http://servicedesk.creighton.edu ·The BlueSuite of Applications is now available for campus use. You can view them by going to your main landing page and clicking on the BlueSuite button or read more about them at: http://www2.creighton.edu/bluesuite/ -BlueQ is now using an enhanced version of the popular WebSurveyor program Please visit the Creighton Homepage and view the whole BlueSuite of tools ready for use.
