How You Can Help
- Provide assistance to metro area shelters and organizations listed.
- Review the list and select a project or create your own.
The Holiday Spirit Committee Will:
- Coordinate the outreach service programs of employees and University departments.
- Serve as a resource for employees and departments who wish to help but need direction.
- Periodically publish in Creighton Today what employees and departments plan to do in conjunction with Holiday Spirit.
- Update the President's Office on the number of people and organizations served, and share the information at the Christmas staff luncheon.
Looking for Another Way to Get Involved?
The Holiday Spirit Committee is collecting old cell phones and chargers for local domestic abuse shelters, and personal care items (shampoo, soaps, lotions, toothpaste deodorants) for the Siena/Francis House. These items can be dropped off to any member of the Holiday Spirit Committee. (A list of committee members is at left.) The Creighton Federal Credit Union in the Skutt Student Center, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Department of Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center and the Creighton Cardiac Center serve as additional drop-off sites.
