Reset Password

If you have lost your password, it has expired, or you accidentally locked your account, you can reset it easily. You will need to visit the Account Management Interface (AMI) web site, and click on Forgot your password?. You will be asked for your NetID and answers to two of the security question you defined during account activation.  A verification code will be sent to your alternative email address or text device (whichever you specified during account activation).  You will need to retrieve this verification code, enter it into AMI and you will be allowed to reset your password. If you are accessing AMI from off campus, you will need to use Creighton's VPN to change your password.

If you have not created a security profile you will need to contact the Service Desk for assistance. The Service Desk will validate your identity (via our validation software, or will request photo ID), and then provide you a One time password, which you can use to activate your account and then create a security profile, provide an alternate email or cell phone number, and to set your Blue password.

Change Password

Changing your password regularly is one of the easiest ways to ensure that it stays safe. The Division of Information Technology encourages every member of the Creighton Community to use strong passwords and to change them regularly.

To change your BLUE password, visit the Account Management Interface (AMI) web site and log in with your current NetID and password. Then choose "Change BLUE Password" from the list of links. You will be asked for your old password, and then asked to choose a new one.

Password must be at least eight characters long and contain at least three of the four types of characters: Upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters such as !#$%&().  Your password cannot contain any part of your name or NetID, and must be changed every 180 days.
