Nominations Sought

The All University Committee on the Status of Women is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Mary Lucretia & Sarah Emily Creighton Award. The award is presented annually to a faculty, staff, administrator or student, who exemplifies the following:

  • s/he has created an environment supportive of achievement for women;
  • has encouraged women faculty, administrators, staff or students in the development of their talents; or
  • has served as a role model of accomplishment for women.

 

Nominations are due on December 1, 2009 by 4:30 p.m. To nominate an individual, please submit your letter of support to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=KCg609FfyXiRvYfE5UTY5A_3d_3d. Letters of support are limited to 750 words. Additionally, letters of support will be limited to the first five received electronically.

This year the Committee on the Status of Women seeks to focus on

  • Women's Advocacy and Leadership
  • Education and Awareness
  • Recognition

Committees were formed for the successful completion of goals. 

 

Brown Bag Event - Three Women Living the Creighton Mission


On March 30, 2009 we sponsored a panel discussion titled "Three Women Living the Mission."
