Good news: there’s no age limit on learning. Whether you’ve been out of school for a few years or a few decades, there’s no better time than now to give yourself the gift of education. The Graduate School and College of Professional Studies at Creighton University have degree and professional development programs designed for busy individuals like you—an adult who wants to advance your career, change directions or just learn more about a field you love.

Creighton accepts adult student applications year-round. Why is that important? Because when you’re ready to get started, you shouldn’t have to wait to begin classes. We offer five starting points throughout the year, so you’re only weeks away from the next step in your educational journey.

It’s easy to get started. Simply follow the pre-admission checklist. If you have any questions or concerns along the way, just give us a call at 402.280.2703 or email us. Contact an enrollment specialist or schedule a phone call.

  1. Complete the FREE online application.
  2. Submit Supporting Documents: Active duty military and veterans: if you have a JST, CCAF or DLA transcript, please submit those as part of your application.
    1. Ask your high school or GED-granting institution to send your official transcripts to the Creighton University.
    2. If you’ve attended college before, ask to have your official transcripts sent to Creighton University.
    3. *Due to the current developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Creighton is highly encouraging transcripts be requested and submitted electronically. Official transcript(s) requested electronically should be sent to:

  3. Submit Required Personal Statement: Specific requirements are provided in the application process.
  4. Submit Recommendation Letter: One letter from persons other than friends or family members [academic or professional reference].
  5. Include a current resume.
  6. Complete Financial Aid Application: If you’re planning to apply for financial aid, complete the FAFSA.

Some popular programs with eight-week online courses include:

  • Healthy Lifestyle Management
    Gain the knowledge and skills you need to work in the fast-growing career area of health and wellness.

    Develop leadership skills that can truly make a difference in your world and community. Tracks are available in Healthcare Management, Non-Profit Management and Human Capital Management.

    Focus on core liberal studies, advanced clinical concepts and leadership development in the online Bachelor of Science in EMS degree completion pathway. If you have a desire to work in a fast-paced emergency environment, want to gain hands-on paramedic education and hope to lay the groundwork for a fulfilling career in health care and public service, then getting your degree in emergency medical services is the perfect option for you.
