St. John's was built in 1888 and recently renovated in 2007, making it a historical landmark in the State of Nebraska. It is a parish for the nearby Omaha community in addition to providing services for students, including Candlelight Mass on Sunday evenings. "The Fountain" is outside the Church and represents the Holy Spirit and the eternal flame.

The Jesuit Gardens are conveniently located on campus to provide students with a quiet, peaceful space to study, play Frisbee, or just get away from the busyness of Omaha. The garden gets its name because it is bordered by the Jesuits' residences, the Ignatius house and Creighton Hall.

Creighton Hall is more commonly referred to by students as the Admin Building. It was the first building of Creighton and is now home to a majority of the Jesuit community, several campus departments, and administrative offices. Across the mall is Deglman Hall (all-female, freshman residence), Brandeis Hall (one of two dining halls on campus), and Swanson Hall (the Sophomore residence hall).
