Creative Writing

YES! YOU CAN get started.

Wondering how your transfer credits fit into the AcceleratedCREIGHTON degree program? Call 402.280.2424 to talk to one of our advisors or to setup an appointment to learn more.

Creative Writing provides a solid foundation for the pursuit of successful careers and leadership roles in most professional fields, including administration, research, education, writing, law, business, public and foreign service and many others.

Many occupations today require a college-educated individual with the ability to communicate well, effectively, and precisely. Our graduates use their education in a wide variety of fields, and your career may relate more to your personal career interests, work values, and transferable skills than any other specific academic major.

Creative Writing gives you an eye for detail, the ability to read and write at a higher level, and communication skills that allow you to communicate with all people, not just those similarly trained - all skills that are essential in business and in life. Writing is a skill but  writing well is applicable to everything, not just a narrow slice of life.
