ATS113 is a prerequisite for most upper division courses in Atmospheric Sciences.

Advanced placement is available to students who qualify, particularly for those with meteorological training with the aviation industry, the National Weather Service, or branches of the military. For information, contact the Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences Chair.

A Certificate of Atmospheric Sciences will be awarded to students who complete the following courses:

MTH245: Calculus I (4)
MTH246: Calculus II (4)
PHY211: General Physics I and Lab (4)
PHY212: General Physics II and Lab (4)
