Driving Directions
We recommend University College visitors park in the Student Parking lot accessible via Burt Street at approximately 26th Street (between 24th Street and the Interstate). Visitor Parking is also available in the Lied Center for Performing Arts Visitor Lot located at 24th & Cass Streets. Students may also park in the Faculty/Staff lot accessible via Cuming Street at approximately 26th Street AFTER 4 p.m.
From the West: The I-480 exit is a right-hand exit, just past the 42nd Street exit. It is also referred to as the "downtown" exit. Follow I-480 North to the North Omaha Freeway and the Cuming Street exit. Exit onto Cuming Street. Turn right onto Cuming Street (eastbound), right onto 24th Street (southbound) and right onto Burt Street (westbound). You can access the student parking lot from Burt Street at about 26th Street.
From the East: The I-480 exit is a right-hand exit, just past the 13th Street (Zoo) exit. Follow I-480 North to the North Omaha Freeway and the Cuming Street exit. Exit onto Cuming Street. Turn right onto Cuming Street (eastbound), right onto 24th Street (southbound) and right onto Burt Street (westbound). You can access the student parking lot from Burt Street at about 26th Street. Coming from the north or south of Omaha, you will probably approach via I-29.
From the North: Stay on I-29 south past the I-680 exit and continue to the I-480 turnoff. Exit onto I-480 and take the Dodge Street exit. Follow Dodge Street to 24th Street, turn right onto 24th and proceed north to Burt Street. Turn left onto Burt Street (westbound). You can access the student parking lot from Burt Street at about 26th Street.
From the South: I-29 merges with I-80 West. Follow I-80 West to the I-480 exchange and exit onto I-480 North. Follow I-480 North to the North Omaha Freeway and the Cuming Street exit. Exit onto Cuming Street. Turn right onto Cuming Street (eastbound), right onto 24th Street (southbound) and right onto Burt Street (westbound). You can access the student parking lot from Burt Street at about 26th Street. Coming from the north or south of Omaha, you will probably approach via I-29.
