Students are the reason University College exists, so we've devoted this page entirely to you. Creighton University has many offices and programs to assist you with various aspects of your college experience.

Steps to Degree Completion

Registration

You will be assigned a new registration PIN# (also called the Alternate PIN) and registration time each semester. If you are a degree- or certificate- seeking student, you will need to obtain your PIN# from your advisor in order to register online. At University College, we will also take your registration in person, over the phone, by fax or email.

Advising/Major Application

Your University College advisor will assist you with course registration and pre-major advising. You may apply for your major after one semester at Creighton University. You must have an overall GPA of 2.0 and in some majors, you must meet additional requirements. Specific requirements are listed in the Undergraduate Bulletin. Once you've applied and have been admitted to your major department, a faculty major advisor will be assigned to you. You will, however, retain your University College advisor and you're always welcome to meet with us as well.

Senior Check

At least one semester before you plan to graduate, you should schedule an appointment with University College for a senior check by calling 402.280.2424. The Assistant Dean will review your coursework to date to make sure you're on track for graduation.

Apply for Graduation

When you're ready to graduate, you'll need to complete the Graduation Application on The NEST. You can learn more about University Commencement by visiting the Registrar's website.
