The first time you register for classes, you must do so through your University College (UC) advisor. If you know what classes you need to take, simply contact your advisor with the course information (CRN, subject, course). If, however, you'd rather schedule a meeting with your advisor to review curriculum requirements or help with course selection, we encourage you to call University College at 280.2424 to schedule an appointment with your advisor. We realize our students have varying levels of comfort related to course selection and registration, so we're happy to provide the level of assistance you require.

The course schedule is posted online on NEST which you can access directly or via MyCreighton. Prior to contacting your advisor, take a look at the course schedule, including seat availability, so you have an idea of the courses for which you'd like to register.

Online
After your first semester at Creighton, you'll be assigned a registration PIN and registration time. The registration PIN allows you to register online via NEST. The registration PIN changes each semester. You'll obtain your PIN from your major advisor (if you have one assigned) or your UC advisor (if you don't have a major advisor). You're strongly encouraged to meet with your advisor each semester to discuss your curriculum. PIN numbers are assigned shortly before the start of the early registration period. An email notification is sent to your CUmail address.

Phone
You can call your registration information into the University College office at 280.2424. You'll need to have your course CRN, subject, course number and section letter available to facilitate a quick registration process. Continuing students are assigned a registration time according to completed credit hours. Calling in your registration doesn't allow you to schedule before your assigned time.

Email
As with phone registration, you can choose to email your desired courses to your UC advisor. Please provide, at minimum, the CRN for the courses. Additional information, such as subject, course number and section letter is often hepful. If you choose to email your information, please provide your NetID in your email message.
