Onyx Translations

2015 Onyx Translations has produced a very large collection of translations of Aesop in various languages.  This publisher is so recent that their website is still under construction.  A rough estimate from a quick look at their availability on Amazon suggests that there are upwards of 25 languages available.  At this time I have purchased three.  There is little bibliographical information in them other than the copyright date of 2015.  Amazon's price for each seems to be $8.99.  I found my three on Amazon.

2015 Ezopove Basne: Aesop's Fables Bosnian Edition.  Paperbound.  Onyx Translations.  $8.99 from Amazon, July, '16.

This is the simplest of paperback presentations of Aesop.  After a spare colophon page and a title-page, the translations begin.  There are neither T of C nor page numbers.  There are no illustrations beyond the impressive red lion on the covers.  But if one wants to recommend a simple version in a particular foreign language, here it is!  This Bosnian translation represents the sixty-fourth language in this collection!

2015 Visa Aesop ya: Aesop's Fables Swahili Edition.

2015 Aesop's Fables Arabic Edition.  Paperbound.  Onyx Translations.  $8.99 from Amazon, July, '16.

This is the simplest of paperback presentations of Aesop.  The spare colophon page is put at the Western front of the book together with a title-page.  The translations begin of course from the Western "back" of the book.  There are neither T of C nor page numbers.  There are no illustrations beyond the impressive red lion on the covers.  But if one wants to recommend a simple version in a particular foreign language, here it is!  The texts, like the title, are in Arabic.
