Joan Neuhaus
Vice President for Women's and Children's Services, Alegent Health
Joan Neuhaus, an Omaha native, received a bachelor's degree from Creighton University in 1973, and an MBA from Creighton in 1979.
Neuhaus's background is in strategic planning and marketing. She has led organizational strategy within Alegent Health and has provided strategic planning facilitation for a number of organizations on a volunteer basis, including St. Augustine Indian Mission, College of St. Mary, the Creighton College of Business, Mercy Conference for Higher Education and Leadership Omaha. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, and participates on the Jesuit Partnership Council and the Nebraska Women's Health Advisory Committee. She has also served on the Boards of Marian High School and Catholic Charities.
"I am passionate in my belief that education is the foundation for success, particularly for young women," Neuhaus said. "That is why I am excited to share in Creighton's mission of academic excellence by serving on the College of Business Advisory Council. I believe Creighton business graduates are unique in their values-based orientation, sound business principles and commitment to serve. In the future, I want to work with the College in developing additional niche programs and expanding opportunities for women."
