Robert R. Johnson, Ph. D., CFA, received a BSBA in finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, an MBA with a concentration in finance from Creighton University, a Ph. D. in finance/investments from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a CFA charter from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.

In the years Dr. Johnson has been with the CFA Institute, the CFA program has experienced exponential growth reaching an excess of 120,000 candidates enrolled annually worldwide. The CFA Program, including curriculum sales, accounts for over 75% of the CFA Institute's approximately $100 million annual revenue cycle. Dr. Johnson has, also, been instrumental in providing valuable input to the overall management of the organization and in helping guide CFA Institute through the appropriate decision-making to address the challenges of growth, globalization and the maintenance of the integrity and excellence of the CFA Program.

Dr. Johnson was a Professor of Finance at Creighton University from 1984-1996, and earned the University-wide Robert F. Kennedy Award for Teaching Excellence in 1994. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board of The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Wealth Management, the Education Advisory Group of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation, the Creighton University College of Business Advisory Council and the Midwest Finance Association.
