Program Administration

Dr. Anne York, Co-Program Director

Dr. Anne York , associate professor of strategy and entrepreneurship, directs Creighton’s entrepreneurship programs, along with the NSF-funded Bioscience Entrepreneurship program and the Professional Science Master’s program. Her research involves strategies for managing in hypercompetitive environments, including information technology and the biosciences.  She has served on the Business Policy and Strategy executive committee of the Academy of Management and as division and program chair for the technology and life sciences division of the U.S. Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship. A former manager at Atlantic Richfield’s research center and a tax specialist at KPMG, Dr. York has consulted for such companies as Booz, Allen, Hamilton, Trigon Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Creighton Medical Associates, King County Department of Mental Health (Seattle),  HealthPlus, and Compression Dynamics. She earned her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a certified public accountant.

Dr. Mark Reedy, Co-Program Director

Dr. Mark V. Reedy, co-director of Creighton’s Professional Science Master's degree program, is an associate professor of cell and developmental biology and chair of the biology department at Creighton University.  Dr. Reedy received his Ph.D. from the University of California Davis and completed a post-doc at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center prior to joining the Creighton faculty in 2001.  His research interests include the mechanisms that establish the final arrangement of cells and tissues during embryonic development.  He has published in a variety of scholarly journals, including Developmental Dynamics, Developmental Biology, and the Journal of Molecular and Cell Biology.

Steven Michael Kelly, Assistant Program Director

Mr. Steven Kelly, assistant program director for the Professional Science Master's degree program, is responsible for PSM web design, direct and indirect marketing, class scheduling, budgeting, accounting, and managing work study students.
