Creighton University

The Youth Leadership Omaha program begins with an orientation in late October and a weekend retreat in early November.  Day-long seminars are held each month from December through April, concluding with a weekend retreat and graduation in April.

Attendance is required at all sessions: orientation, retreats, seminars, and graduation.   

Dates for the 2009-2010 program activities:

• October 26 - Orientation for YLO students and parents (7:00 p.m. at Creighton University, Harper Center)
• November 13-14 - Opening Retreat (Nov. 13, 4:30 p.m. to Nov. 14, 5:00 p.m.)
• November 17 - Seminar 1: Omaha Growth & Development Tour
• December 2 - Seminar 2: Justice & Governance
• January 21 - Seminar 3: Education & Career Development
• February 10 - Seminar 4: Health & Human Services
• March 4 - Seminar 5: Business & Technology
• March 31 - Seminar 6: Media & Arts
• April 9-10 - Closing Retreat (April 9, 4:30 p.m. to April 10, 5:00 p.m.)
• April 19 - YLO Graduation (7:00 p.m. at Creighton University, Harper Center Ballroom)
