Jeffrey J . Maciejewski, PhD

Professor

Jeffrey Maciejewski earned his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and he has taught at Creighton University since 1999. His research interests include media ethics, virtue ethics, human nature, and persuasion. Dr. Maciejewski is a member of the Society for Christian Ethics and the Religious Communication Association, and he is a reviewer for the peer-reviewed journal Rhetoric Review. He resides in Omaha with his wife Lisa and their two children, Casey and Sophia. A native of Milwaukee, he is a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan.

Research Focus

Dr. Maciejewski explores human nature and how our nature as human beings is expressed in our need to communicate and in communication practice itself.
