Cardoner's current programs will continue in their present form through the 2007-08 academic year. In the summer of 2008, all student programs previously associated with Cardoner will be integrated throughout the university. As of July 1, 2008, the Cardoner Office and staff will also cease operations.
Here is how the student programs will be integrated:
- Ratio Studiorum will continue its vocational and discernment work with Freshmen and Sophmores
- The Cortina Community will continue under the leadership of The College of Arts and Sciences, Residence Life, CCSJ, and the Student Learning Division of Student Services
- A new College to Career Discernment Program will be offered for Juniors and Seniors through Career Services
- Undergraduate and Graduate ministry internships will continue to be offered as coordinated by Campus Ministry and CCSJ
- Each of Creighton's five professional schools will offer an annual retreat for its faculty, staff, students and alumni focused on renewing their vocational call to their profession.
