Application Procedures:
Recall that the purpose of the vFellowships is to build a community of faculty at Creighton who increase their understanding of vocation-as-calling and who are willing to incorporate this increased understanding in their teaching, sholarship, and/or service.
Applicants should write a brief explanation that includes the following:
- Completed Application form with signatures from Department Chair and Dean.
- Your current understanding of vocation and how it relates to your teaching, scholarship, and/or service (1 page max).
- A description of the particular vFellowship project you would undertake, your preferred method of compensation, and how this compensation would facilitate project completion (1 1/2 page max).
- How you might add to the community of faculty who participate and how you expect to benefit from your participation (1/2 page max).
- Estimated schedule for completing your project and plan of significant personal and professional activities for the summer of 2006 (1 pae max).
- Curriculum Vitae, including any awards, grants, fellowships, sabbaticals, etc. awarded during your tenure at Creighton University.
Submission Deadline:
Submit 1original and 5 copies of entire application packet to Dr. Kristina DeNeve, Director of Cardoner, on or before Monday, January 15, 2007.
