Eligibility:
Fellowships are available to full-time, tenure track faculty members. Ineligible faculty are those who are awarded a sabbatical anytime between summer 2007 and spring 2008, a University Research Fellowship for the summer of 2007, or a Faculty Development Scholarship from the College of Arts and Sciences for the summer of 2007. Please indicate in your proposal if you are applying for any of these in 2007.
Although most proposals will likely involve individual projects, inter- or intra- disciplinary projects that involve two or more faculty members are acceptable. In such cases, supporting materials should include a statement specifying whether the applicants are requesting one fellowship split between them or multiple parallel fellowships. In either case, joint proposals will be judged by the same criteria as individual ones.
Dissemination of Project Outcomes/Learnings:
vFellows whose projects focus on course development must agree to teach the relevant course at least once between Fall 2007 and Spring 2009. vFellows whose projects focus on sholarship must agree to make a presentation to the Creighton community during the 2007-08 academic year. vFellows who work directly with Cardoner must also be willing to make a vocation-as-calling relevant presentation to the Creighton community during the 2007-08 academic year.
