Chinese Culture Family Night: China SiChuan Earthquake Fundraising Effort
Location: Student Center, Omaha Christ Community Church 404 South 108th Avenue, Omaha Time: 6:00 – 9:00 PM Friday, June 27th, 2008 (Dinner, kids’ game, Chinese calligraphy and character writing demonstrations, silent auction: 6:00 – 7:30PM; Performance: 7:30 – 8:30 followed by auction results) Tickets: $5 (child3-11), $10(12 and up)
Proceeds from item sales and the silent auction at the event will benefit the families that were victimized by the SiChuan earthquake on May 12th. This event is organized by the OCSSA (Omaha Chinese Students and Scholars Association) chapters from Creighton University, the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Nebraska -Omaha and the OCCA (Omaha Chinese Culture Association).
