SearchCreighton professors visit St. Mary's College as part of "China Night Program"
On February 8, 2008, Dr. Jinmei Yuan, Associate Professor of Philosophy, and Dr. Maorong Jiang, Director of Asian World Center at Creighton were invited by Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, for their “China Night Program”. As part of their China Night Program, Dr. Jinmei Yuan introduced Creighton’s Study Abroad and Asia Studies programs. Dr. Maorong Jiang gave an Asian style cooking demonstration and singing performance for the St. Mary’s community (see pictures below).
Creighton University and Saint Mary’s College will jointly organize the “2008 China Summer Study Program." Dr. Jinmei Yuan (Creighton University) and Dr. Marcia Richard (St. Mary’s College) will lead the program.
