About AWC/Werner Institute Joint Events: The joint events by the Asian World Center and the Werner Institute for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution aim to bring leading scholars and prominent individuals to visit Creighton University and share their insights and experiences with scholars, policy makers, business leaders and the general public.

Biography: Dr. Sheikh is professor and former chair of the Department of Psychology at Marquette University and clinical professor of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As an author of 16 books and numerous journal articles and book chapters, Dr. Sheikh has trained thousands of health professionals around the world. Dr. Sheikh is past president of the American Association for the Study of Mental Imagery and is internationally recognized for his contributions to the field of imagery.
