Lydia Reinig (M.A., Colorado State University) teaches Managerial Communication. In addition to teaching presentational skills and theories of workplace communication, Prof. Reinig's interests include interpersonal and cultural communication. As an ethnographer of communication, her primary research asks: How do rural community members make sense of young people's practices of staying in, going from, and returning to their hometown during their transitions into adulthood? Within the realm of organizational life, Prof. Reinig particularly enjoys conversations surrounding care and career, and organizational cultures. When she's not "in the field" researching and teaching, Lydia enjoys being in the farm fields of the grand Midwestern landscape that surrounds our university.
