Timothy J. Cook, Ph.D.

Dr. Timothy Cook is a Professor of Education at Creighton University.  He has had extensive personal and professional experience with Catholic schools as a student, social studies teacher, principal, and school board member.  Dr. Cook's research interests include Catholic school ethos and religion teacher preparation.  He is the author of the NCEA publication, Architects of Catholic Culture: Designing and Building Catholic Culture in Catholic Schools. Since his book's publication, Dr. Cook has become recognized as an expert on Catholic school identity and culture issues stateside and abroad.

Father Tom Simonds, S.J., Ed. D.
University of San Francisco

Fr. Tom Simonds, S.J. received his Ed.D. in Catholic School Leadership from the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit institution.  He is currently an Assistant Professor and the Director of Secondary Education at Creighton University.  He has been a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal in elementary and secondary Catholic schools.  His current research interests include school violence prevention and the Catholic character of universities.  Fr. Simonds also facilitates the spiritual formation of students at Creighton University by providing spiritual direction, retreat direction, and class-base exploration of spirituality.
