About Our Department
Few academic program majors offer such diverse opportunities for employment upon graduation as Exercise Science. The Exercise Science curriculum prepares graduates with knowledge and practical experience necessary for employment as strength and conditioning specialists, personal trainers, corporate and community fitness leaders; and provides a strong background for those students interested in pursuing a masters or doctoral degree in exercise physiology. The Exercise Science major is also an excellent curricular option for those intending to apply to medical school and other allied health programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, cardiac rehabilitation, dentistry, pharmacy, dietetics and accelerated nursing programs.
The Department of Exercise Science faculty & staff are eager to help students to meet their academic goals and to prepare for future success.
