Degree Requirements
The BA in Art History requires a total of 33 hours. Majors are required to take ARH 219, ARH 319, ARH 401, and 3 hours in Studio Art (ART). Majors are also required to take at least one class in each of the following areas: Ancient, Medieval/Early Modern, Modern, and Non-Western. The remaining 9 hours can be filled with any ARH class. Students can also earn a minor in Art History by successfully completing ARH 219, ARH 319, and twelve hours of other ARH classes.
