Grace Keenan Scholarship
The $4000 Grace Keenan Endowed Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen who intend to major in the visual or performing arts. The Scholarship, which is renewable, is funded by a donation from Grace Keenan, a retired teacher and lover of the arts who opened her home and her heart to Creighton students.
Application Process
Applications for the Keenan Scholarship can be obtained through Creighton University's Undergraduate Admissions Office (402-280-2703 or 800-282-5835.) Please include with the application a cover letter describing your interest and a résumé of your experience in solo or ensemble work to the address below. Also, direct two letters of recommendation to the same address.
Submission deadline date for consideration for the 2010-2011 academic year is Monday, February 1, 2010 and the audition date is Sunday, February 14, 2010. In the event of inclement weather, candidates will be contacted to make other arrangements.
Applicants will be contacted to confirm audition times. A live audition is preferred, but an audio cassette, CD or video tape is acceptable. Audition materials cannot be returned. If accompaniment is needed, itmust be requested at the time of the application.
