Biography

Juliette Henning is originally from Akron, OH and received her training at the Dance Institute of Akron, Canton Ballet, and Ballet Excel Ohio. In addition, she was a scholarship student at the Cleveland Ballet School, North Carolina School of the Arts, and Milwaukee Ballet School. Her professional career includes dancing with the Milwaukee Ballet, Ballet Omaha, and the Cincinnati Ballet. Throughout her career, she has performed soloist and principal roles in a variety of ballets, and has worked with greats like Suzanne Farrell and the late Frederic Franklin. She has been teaching and choreographing for the past 25 years at various ballet schools in Ohio and Omaha, and is currently a faculty member at the Omaha Academy of Ballet as well as the Director of the Omaha Dance Project. She has been a part-time faculty member at Creighton since the fall of 2010.
