The Master of Arts in Ministry is a 46 credit professional, ecclesial ministry formation program which incorporates graduate Christian Theology, Human and Personal Development, Spiritual Formation and Applied Ministerial skills through an accelerated online and on-campus hybrid methodology.
- 38 Credits of accelerated, on-line Theology courses are offered throughout the year in an 8 week, on-line format.
- 4 Credits of Professional and Personal Development Courses are taken on Creighton's campus, exclusively in the summer. The classes are formatted in one week blocks and students live on campus in a rich community environment. Normally, a one week block is taken each summer.
- 4 Credits of Internship - Location of Choice. In collaboration with the Director, students create 1 to 4 internship projects tailored to their aptitude and professsional plans. The Intership is completed at the student's site of choice.
- Personal Formation Requirements include ten or more days committed to a personally directed spiritual retreat. On-going spiritual direction with a program approved spiritual director and an on-going ministerial mentoring relationship with a program approved mentor are also required and developed with program supervision.
