A fund to assist students with international study has been established by the family and friends of Angela Marie Maher, a political science major of the Class of 1995. Angela Maher was killed in the summer of 1994 in an automobile accident involving a drunk driver.
The fund exists to assist Creighton University students in funding the cost of international study to qualified student(s) who have financial need and who present an acceptable program of foreign study. The fund is administered by the Department of Political Science and International Studies, however, students need not be majors in the department to apply for the grant. Application deadline: February 15 of each year.
For more information about this fund, please contact the department chair or the department administrative assistant in Creighton Hall, room 430a.
