The purpose for the Honors Certification in Psychology is to recognize excellence in academic achievement in undergraduate psychology. Honors Certification in Psychology is recognized at the Psychology Department's Annual Awards Banquet, as well as at the College of Arts & Sciences Awards Presentation. Furthermore, the Honors Certification in Psychology is noted on the student's official transcript.
Eligibility Criteria
1. | Minimum psychology GPA of 3.5 and a minimum overall GPA of 3.25. |
2. | Complete six (6) Group B-D courses with no more than two (2) from any one category counting for certification. |
3. | Complete two (2) of the following:

Application for Honors Certification
All students who wish to be considered for Honors Certification must submit an application in the semester during which they plan to graduate.
The application deadline for December graduates is December 1st. The application deadline for May graduates is March 26th. All application materials must be received in the Psychology Department Office by this date.
