   Psi Chi

Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, is designed to encourage excellence in scholarship. The Creighton University Chapter of Psi Chi recognizes the importance of maintaining this excellence through community service, social functions, and scientific research. We contribute to the advancement and integrity of science on our campus and throughout our community. Psi Chi is a national organization that sponsors student scholarship at regional and national psychology conferences, awards research prizes, and funds grants to promote research efforts. Psi Chi members also receive regular issues of Eye on Psi Chi, the society's magazine, which features informative articles about careers, applying for graduate school, the various fields of psychology, and much more.

CAHR stands for the Creighton Association for Human Resources. CAHR, the student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), is an interdisciplinary organization for students interested in the area of human resources. It arranges for tours of local companies and job shadowing opportunities for students, provides useful information on interviewing, résumés construction, and more! It enables students to network and distribute résumés to prospective employers through CAHR's connection to the Human Resource Association for the Midlands. Additionally, one CAHR member a year is awarded a scholarship to attend the short course to prepare for the professional HR certification exam.
