Dr. Dilly continues with the writing of a book that interprets the social and cultural transformations of the American family farmers’ daughter as revealed in popular culture images and ethno-historical literature. She is also researching the role that rural churches and schools of the past and present play in sustaining family farmer values and identities and how these institutions provide resources for sustainable agriculture.
