Music at Creighton
Plato said, "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything." The Bachelor of Arts in Music and Music Minor celebrates the central place music has in the humanities and in a student's cultural identity, and Creighton's programs are designed to give the student a broad foundational understanding of music.

Through study in these degree programs, the student will develop musically sensitive performance skills as well as a theoretical, historical, and cultural understanding which will enhance his or her performance.
