Immunization Requirements

July 1, 2014 Deadline

All new first-year and transfer students must have their vaccination information on file with the university by July 1st.  Students are encouraged to check their personal NEST account under 'Immunization Tracker' to determine their vaccine requirements and compliancy status  


All students registered for classes on campus have vaccine requirements.  For new freshmen and transfer students, vaccination data must be on file BY JULY 1st prior to moving into residential housing.  Please mail the scantron form provided by the university to report your immunization data.

Compliance penalties: July 1st registration hold; August 1st -$150 fine refundable until September 12th.

Students registered in a Health Science program (Dentistry, EMS, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy) must complete the Health Science student requirements, except for seasonal flu vaccine, BEFORE classes begin unless instructed otherwise by the individual Health Science school.

Information on Meningitis Vaccine: 
CDC recommends students receive a booster dose of meningitis AFTER age 16 to assure protection during the college years.  This vaccine is required for students living in Creighton University residence halls or apartments.  Please contact Student Health Services if you have questions regarding this new requirement.
