Student Health Services
Your Home for Healthcare on Campus

Medical Clinic

We provide comprehensive primary care just as a family physician would provide in a student's home area.  The Medical Clinic is staffed by board certified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and certified medical assistants.  Services are available to all Creighton University students.  Our services are competitively priced at or below community rates.

-Acute Minor Illnesses
-Minor lacerations
-Mole check
-Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT)
-Pink eye
-Respiratory infections
       -Sore throats
       -Sinus infection
-Seasonal allergies
-Skin rashes and infections
-Sprains/broken bones
-Stomach illness
-Urinary Tract Infections

Chronic Conditions:
-Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
-High blood pressure
-High cholesterol
-Immuntherapy (allergy injections)

Preventive Care:
-Cholesterol screening
-High blood pressure screening
-Immunizations including:
     -Flu shots/Flu mist
     -HPV vaccine
     -Hepatitis A and B
-PPD testing (See Campus Health Outreach for campus clinic schedule)
-Preoperative physicals
-Travel (Study Abroad) Physicals
     -Travel vaccines

Women's Health:
-Annual gynecology exams (Pap smears)
-Eating Disorders
-Hormone therapy for medical conditions. We do not prescribe hormone therapy for contraception.
-HIV testing
-Pregnancy testing and counseling
-Menstrual irregularities
-Sexually transmitted infection screening
-Vaginal infections

Men's Health:
-Annual physical exams
-Eating Disorders
-HIV testing
-Sexually transmitted infection screening


Health and Wellness Promotion:
-Campus Outreach Programs
     -"Shoo the Flu at CU" vaccine campaign
     -PPD Skin testing campus clinics
-Peer Educators at Creighton (PEAC)
-Health Aide Program

Laboratory Services:
-Provide a full-range of diagnostic tests
-Laboratory orders from outside medical providers accepted (results will be faxed to the ordering provider).

Radiology Services:
-State-of-the-art digital x-ray equipment.
-Orders from outside medical poviders accepted (results will be faxed to the ordering provider).
-Patients are x-rayed promptly by licensed Radiology Technologists and electronically transmitted to consulting Radiologists for interpretation.
-Special procedures such as CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds and mammograms are not performed at Student Health Services.  We can help the patient schedule at a local facility.

Prescription medications can be filled at a local pharmacy.  The nearest pharmacies include:
