Events

The Parent Council organized Holiday Bazaar is coming soon!  The event will be held on Wednesday, November 9 from 11 am - 1 pm in the Skutt Student Center Ballroom.  Check out our 2011 Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser page for more details!

 

The Russell Child Development Center closes along with the University for the following major holidays: 

  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas holiday break (the University is closed during the period from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day)
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day

If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Center will close on the preceding Friday.  If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the Center will close on the following Monday.

The Russell Child Development Center closes for two teacher work days per year.  On these days the teachers report but the Center is closed to children.  For 2011-2012, those dates are: 

  • Wednesday, November 23 (Day before Thanksgiving)
  • Monday, February 20 (President's Day)
