Degree and Certificate applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited school and recently completed four courses or twelve credits in the following areas of undergraduate Theology:
- Old Testament
- New Testament
- Theological Ethics
- Contemporary Christian Theology
Certificate Candidates only are also required to:
- be at least 30 years of age
- have completed a minimum of 2 years of regular spiritual direction
- have completed at least one, 8 day, silent, directed retreat - it is highly recommended that the candidate complete the Creighton CSP retreat (held every year prior to the first summer term) if at all possible
All new graduate students are required to attend the Orientation to Graduate Study held on Sunday before the first day of classes.
Degree and Certificate applicants should complete the Graduate School Application and provide an additional three letters of recommendation. The three letters of recommendation should be from those who can address the applicant's life of faith and prayer. All materials should be sent to the Graduate School.
Special Summer Sabbatical applicants should complete the Special Graduate Student Application Form.
