As an all university committee with a rich history, we are charged with advancing the status of women on campus.  We want to make sure that voices on campus are being heard. Therefore committees will be quickly formed this fall and goals will be established.

2014 Fall Forum:  Strength Through Change

Friday, October 24, 2014
9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Skutt Student Center

Come for a day of professional development, as well as conversations about what issues are important to women at Creighton. The day will include educational sessions, a keynote speaker, and will close with a Listening/Conversation Session to discuss Creighton's strengths and our campus climate.

The Forum is paid work release time with supervisor approval. Registration is FREE, but space is limited. Please register early!

Mary Lucretia and Sarah Emily Creighton Award

The Committee on the Status of Women is pleased to announce the recipients of the Mary Lucretia and Sarah Emily Creighton Awards. The 2014 recipients are:


* Morgan Pusek, second-year Doctor of Pharmacy student

* Amy Friedman Wilson, Pharm.D., Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of the Center for Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice

* Kelly Karl Ptacek, Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services and Development Programs, University Relations
