About the award: The Distinguished Staff Service Award is presented annually at the President's Convocation. The recipient of this award must qualify according to the following criteria: non-faculty, non-administrator employee classified as either professional, clerical, maintenance/service or technical. Employed at Creighton for a minimum of six full-time years or the equivalent hours for a part-time employee. Distinguished record of service to Creighton University, including significant contributions to a particular area or department. This service should reflect credit upon the University. The recipient should have demonstrated a high degree of dedication to the job; should embody the Creighton Credo in his/her work and in his/her life; and should function in his/her position with appropriate interpersonal skills. Nominations are accepted beginning Oct. 1 and due Nov. 1.
