About the award: The Spirit of Creighton Award is conferred annually at May commencement by the President of the University on an outstanding male and female student who embody the Creighton Credo. Nominations are made by the president, the vice presidents, the academic and non-academic deans, and the department chairs and/or academic unit or division directors of the University. Nominations are accepted beginning Jan. 15 and due Feb. 15. Recipients are honored for their initiative, enterprise, academic achievement and outstanding character traits.

Additional letters of support are encouraged and can be submitted up to two weeks after the nomination due date (Feb. 15). Send additional information to the Assistant Vice President for Marketing & Communications, Wareham Building, 3rd floor. Please use a confidential envelope or email to publichonors@creighton.edu.
