Message from the President
Community outreach is integral to the education our students receive while at Creighton. This outreach provides our students with a more complete picture of the complexities facing our world - enhancing their educational experience, as they wrestle with today's most difficult issues.
We are grateful for our outreach partners, who allow our students these life-changing opportunities. We are all enriched by this partnership of service and learning. It is the foundation of who and what Creighton is as a Jesuit institution. In emphasizing service, Creighton not only reaches out to the contemporary world but also reaches back to the more than 400-year-old-tradition of the Society of Jesus.
As a modern urban campus, we are dedicated to being an engaged partner in the renaissance of downtown Omaha. Indeed, great strides have been made in this regard. But we also realize our scope as a national university requires us to look beyond our immediate borders to opportunities for outreach partnerships regionally, nationally and globally.
