  • Measure the outcomes and cost effectiveness of the organization’s human resource initiatives
  • Evaluate the human resource function or department
  • Evaluate the cost effectiveness of outsourcing some or all human resource functions
  • Learn the difference between Process Metrics and Performance Metrics and how to use them
  • Understand data collection and analyses tools that allow you to isolate the key metrics to record and monitor

Program 2 - October 8

Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring

  • Obtain an overview of the entire M&A process and understand how the HR group fits into this process
  • Assess areas of non-compliance and other legal risks prior to merger
  • Merge organizational structures, compensation plans, & employee benefit programs
  • Determine methods for selecting staff for retention and/or outplacement during reorganizations
  • Anticipate cultural, philosophical or attitudinal differences between merged companies or restructured departments

Assessing Managerial and Executive Talent

  • Learn specific techniques that match the right candidate to the right job and employer.
  • Improve executive talent return on investment.

  • Identify appropriate executive compensation plans in various ownership structures (IPO, Spin-offs, Private Equity)
  • Discuss emerging practices in executive pay
