Part II - The Control Panel
Control Panel Interface
This is what you see when you click on the Control Panel button.
As you can see, there are six areas of the Control Panel.
Content Area - This is the area you will use the most when putting your course material on line. Everything your students need for your course can be found here. (except of course, the tests, but who wanted those anyway?)

Course Tools - This section of the Control Panel gives you access to all the communication options for your students. There is a description of each below and the title is a link that describes the process for formatting it the way you want it.
Course Options - The purpose of this function is to allow you to have the necessary material and tools in the navigation bar on the left of the screen for your students. You can determine what you want in that navigation and how it is to appear there.
User Management - There are only two of these features that you will need to use. Since adding and removing of students is done by automatic linking to the Registrar's office, you will not need to use a lot of the functions found in this area. However, there are two of the features that may be quite useful for you. I will describe them to you.
Assessment - This is the area you will be working from when you create your assessments for the students.

Let's begin with the Content Area section of the Control Panel
