Welcome to the Department of Endodontics
Endodontics (AAE definition) is the branch of dentistry that is concerned with the morphology, physiology, and pathology of the dental pulp and periradicular tissues. Its study and practice encompass the basic and clinical sciences including the biology of the normal pulp and the etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disease and injuries to the pulp and associated periradicular conditions. The department of endodontics at Creighton University Dental School provides students with pre-doctoral training in didactic, laboratory, clinical endodontics and correlated basic and medical sciences.
