Welcome to Creighton University School of Dentistry
Your first appointment will be for an initial assessment of your oral conditions. The fee for this appointment is approximately $60, depending upon the type of x-rays needed. Because we are a teaching facility, our student dentists may not be able to treat all patients, especially those with complex problems. If accepted as a patient, a follow up appointment for a comprehensive examination will be scheduled. The fee for this appointment is approximately $102 depending upon the required additional x-rays. You will be appointed with a student dentist who will then develop a plan of treatment to best manage the problems diagnosed. The risks, benefits and alternate treatments will be explained to you, as well as the fees involved for your dental care.
Payment for dental services, in the form of check, cash, or credit card is expected on the day services are provided. We accept some dental insurance plans. Please provide us with your insurance information at you initial assessment appointment.
Patients must be 15 years of age or older to be seen in the adult clinic. Individuals under the age of 15 are seen in the Pediatric Clinic. Patients under the age of 19, unless married or "emancipated", must have a parent or legal guardian present at the initial visit for required signatures.
We are centrally located in Omaha, Nebraska and parking is free in the lot west of the school. Free Valet Parking is also available at the main entrance of Creighton University Medical Center. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. We cannot afford to accept patients who fail to keep appointments or who do not cancel them in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we cannot provide day care for children, so please make appropriate arrangements.
